I kept updating the serial list each time I found a X0 for sale online.
After 4 years here is the updated graph (monthly production on left axis, cumulative on the right axis).

If you can change the order to make them in sequence so that:
Cover Title is 1 Original title is 2 International title is 3
Your current method is imbecilic.
Depends on the point of view.
Your method would work horribly for titles in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc. unless you're fluent in all languages.
The rule of thumb is:
1/ usual title (in English, to make the search fast) 2/ actual cover title (in the local language, still searchable as a secondary field) 3/ alternate/original/translated title for further information
Not changing this, it's there to help searching.

Is that correct? how would you answer that????
You are answering my question with a question, what is your answer then?
Look at the title I just added that you just approved, what is the cover title that I listed, what is the cover title in English, what is the international title that is NOT on the cover anywhere. There are a lot of examples like this on the database, not just the one I added.
(put links, it's easier to follow)
OK you submitted this title: Dark Warrior (1991) [SEL0445J92]
Since 66% of the user base here is North America , and 61% USA, and I looked up the English/International name on IMDb because you didn't provide the IMDb#.
=> https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0285506/
Since it's a Hong Kong release, did you provide the Chinese cover title or the Japanese cover title? Or maybe it has both?
Still you can look up for the Kanji title and it will still find it, so I remain on my position that the usual English/international title is more useful as the default than sticking to cover-only as the main result, or the searches will quickly become unusable or require too much time to find things.

He's trying all venues he can find... might still be sellers who haven't heard of him yet?

I don't know how it happened, but by a stroke of luck, I happened to be surfing Suruga-ya through their LD listings and found a copy of this still listed for sale. I don't know how it wasn't snapped up by the time I discovered it (maybe the listing saying there was "box damage" dissuaded some from getting it). So I got it and it just arrived at my residence today.
Glad too see that my research on the late, late releases was not for nothing, it DOES exist :-)
Thanks!

First step, clean up the subtitles list:
Cantonese => Traditional Chinese Mandarin => Simplified Chinese Taiwanese => Traditional Chinese
Then:
Taiwan subtitles updated to => Traditional Chinese (previous Taiwanese/Cantonese merged into Traditional Chinese) Singapore subtitles updated to => Simplified Chinese (even though one was described as Traditional)
I didn't mass update the others because many Karaoke releases might cross Cantonese/Mandarin to keep the original lyrics.

The "Hardware Search" is not ready yet but a quick SQL'ing gives 3 USA Players released in 1989:
The NEC being very much a clone of the 3070 (same back panel).

LD Review actually compiled their monthly magazines into full indexed books. => https://forum.lddb.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=913
I know about the 1996 release with Showgirls on the cover:

But there is also a 99 release that I ordered yesterday out of curiosity.

From the videos on YouTube is looks like exactly like what the name implies: label remover, light splay to dissolve sticky glue. Even DAISO sells it, will give it a try.
And it took me 4 years to dare try the glue removal... with little hopes.
IMG_7723.JPG
Here we go, trimmed nails to gently scratch and... lots of time to waste.
Here is the patient, in terminal phase, little hope for remission.
IMG_7720.JPG
The worst section I'm taking aim at first:
IMG_7721.JPG
Spray, scratch, spray, scratch, repeat.
IMG_7722.JPG
Eventually the glue started to give away... after 15 mins.
IMG_7725.JPG
And this is the worst section after 30min. of working on it...
IMG_7726.JPG
So it DOES work, but what an unpleasant process it is! Stinky, sticky, awful.
Will work on the remaining areas later.

Does it have for all entries the small picture + info (like in the monthly books what has recently been released) or is it without the picture (like the monthly books at the back the past quarter releases)?
All tiny text, no picture! (just received it)
But at least whole sections are ordered by catalog number (PILA-*, BEAL-*, etc.), will be easier to fill up gaps. Also have release dates for nearly all entries!
The back cover says:
THERE ARE SO MANY LDs!
Contains data on all 30,000 titles released over the past 18 years since the introduction of LD. This is an absolutely necessary book.

Could we get back on topic and stop attacking each other?
If I were the OP, I'd run away from this forum.
Each additional post should bring additional/incremental information relevant to the original topic. This is a discussion best having in private.
I'll make a round of clean up.
