Good day jdeavs & lons_vex,

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement, as this means a great deal.

All of the hard work has been carried out by myself and DIY by A school friend with myself over 6yrs and 4 months.

If all goes well 2015 I will be measuring & fitting full oak shelving in my cloak room to fully utilise this room, I know this will cost a pretty penny, but it will be worth it when done.

I will then be able to have all of my Blu-Ray's on shelves, along with the on going gradual tidying up along the way.
I sacrifice a lot in order to have each target achieved within a reasonable time frame.

I am confident that you both have your own experiences that are of equal importance, and so are able to appreciate the journey as I have.

Take good care Guys & good reading from you both.

Kindest Regards

  :D

is it ok to stockpile the electronics?
would the bottom electronic player receive any damage from the weight of the other electronics, bent top panel or damage to electronics?

where did you buy all the new laserdisc players?
they stopped making them ages ago.
they must have cost you a fortune?

I love it. Going to do the same shelf for my set up in my basement. I am putting the electronics behind the movie screen so it won't be seen unless we take the screen down but it would sure help me in accessing it all.

Good evening Carlos,

The equipment that you mentioned had been in boxes for 8 to around 14 years, and now are finally out and on shelves.
No the player on the bottom is fine, and will not be damaged.........honest

Yes the cost of each player was indeed high, in fact retail price when purchased at the time new.

The CLD 97 was purchased brand new.......took over 18 months from negotiations, payments and then shipped fully insured, hit by a hefty customs charge of £332 total cost was around $2,800...............It's all taken efforts like this item to achieve.

A few more finishing touches, like cables, calibration mics x 4 for the lexicon, switcher box, further tidying up and so forth before completed.

Kind Regards

Good evening Daro,

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement Sir as this is very much appreciated indeed.
please know that all that you had seen on the before and after photos, were as a result of 15 years and counting, much suffering was encountered through many other life's experiences, and so with great care when I read others experiences I take on board all of what each person writes.

Yes a hobby on the surface but with much struggle underneath

Genuine thanks to your good self sir

Good evening Ions _Vex,

Apologies for not thanking you earlier, as at times a number of other life experiences can prevent one from thinking straight.

Thank you so much for your fine reply and hope that you are doing well in your life.

Kindest Regards to you sir
