If 5" CDV's and VSD's were manufactured a little longer, could dts also have been implemented?
Dts ld's and dts cd's play fine when using any player with a digital output connected to a receiver that can take dts (except for a few very early dvd players).
There are dts ld's. I wondered if it could have been possible, or maybe a very late cdv pressing with a very early dts track on it if something like that ever existed?
Of course most cdv's were 'just' stereo music clips and you can only have one audio track on pal cdv.
But I noticed the Philips cdv-185 has got a digital output and i can happily play dts cd's on it
. It would have been really cool to watch a 5.1 music video or test cdv with a 5.1 audio setup track on that player or on any good cld player with optical out.
