Which has the best sound? Jurassic Park "The Lost World" in DTS or AC3 DD.

That's the feeling I get from most discussions. Just wanted to be sure. Thanks.

I wish they stopped only at the first one and not bother making anymore. DTS all the way but sometimes its hard to choose LD vs BD since I have them on both formats.

Imagine something like Death Race 2000 but with 100 times the budget and none of the wit. None of it at all. Utter garbage, that thing.

Jurassic Park bored me. The Lost World thrilled me. I never understood that JP hype - the film was very slow, characters were very lively played but I didn't find them to be very interesting. Also, the concept of Hammond eating sweets at the table like on a peaceful Sunday evening during his grandchildren are in a life danger and could die any moment is very strange. I know, I couldn't eat at all and if, I would eat something else then party cakes and cremes. Also, as a european person, I found the concept of the relating to a "theme park" to make a successful movie about it the same as european relating to baseball, american football and thanksgiving (namely almost NONE). We don't (mostly) have theme parks here, we (mostly) don't grow up with them and on sunday we just do something else. So, JP was set in a boring setting for me: a theme park. A movie about a special theme park. C'mon, Steven. The Lost world was another story. Greedy Nephew wants to make a really big money, I liked Moore, Goldblum, Vaughan and especially Postelthwaite. Photography was more sinister, there finally were big tensed action sequences and John Williams' score is easily one of the best scores of his career. That theme, listen to that, that rhapsody with broken rhythms and extensive orchestration. But it's not only that, it's the whole feel of that movie which grabbed me. San Diego stuff is over the top, but ok, it is fun. I have a DTS LD version still sealed, maybe I'll open it today. AC-3 was a blast already. You all might have a look at a Blu-ray 3D version of Jurassic Park. It's an upconversion from 2D but done so so so well, like Titanic 3D. It's a astonishing achievement.
