I've been going through a collection I purchased and cam across a movie, My Family, ID3018LI.
The oddball info is the discs and jacket ate labeled with the DTS and AC-3 logos. I played the movie, and only AC-3 and a normal PCM soundtracks were confirmed.

This got me thinking... Any other mislabeled movies out there? Was the manufacturer cheap and just planning to release both AC-3 and DTS versions?
And, because the AC-3 is on an analog channel, and DTS uses the PCM channel, were any discs manufactured with both soundtracks?

AFAIK, no AC3+DTS LD were ever manufactured.

What is listed on the cover is actually the THEATER mix that was available in Dolby, DTS, and sometimes SDDS as well.
It's just copy/paste of the credits and the original credit logos.

Thanks for the reply. The variety of analog, digital, and surround formats incorporated into laserdisc production keeps things interesting as I go though these movies.

"Wes Craven's New Nightmare" also states DTS in the credits on the back, but it's just Pro-Logic on the disc.
