Great news if you missed it, Howard Shore set up his own label to release his soundtracks under his HOWE company:

http://www.howardshore.com/works/discs/
http://store.intrada.com/s.nl/sc.13/category.23511/.f

Seven (never released before), Naked Lunch, Dead Ringers, Hugo, The Departed, Panic Room, Lord of the Rings, etc.

Hopefully a remastered release of "The Game" one day?

Meanwhile, The Silence of the Lambs got re-pressed on vinyl!

I did miss that..... thanks.

The US release on Scanners (1981) (Uncut) [ID2852SU] was the last issue of Scanners on LD & has Mr Shore's score isolated on the analogue track, it is rather good. Issued quite a number of times on the LD format but without a doubt this is the best out of all the releases - "theatrical" aspect ratio - a good Mitsubishi pressing - a first class transfer plus the isolated soundtrack.

Thanks again for the info.
