watched robotcop today, that was a wonderful CAV edition on laserdisc, very cool and gory.
in sweden, watched the rental tape from 1988, this movie was so butchered by swedish censorship all the gore was trimmed down or removed!
entire scene with Emile the freak was removed when he was hit by car in the end of the movie by Clarence Bodicker in the 6000 SUX, that entire scene
was removed from swedish cut

The gatefold on the CAV edition is just fantastic. :)

I know somebody that used to have that release. It's P&S, and the quality is nowhere near as good as the Criterion release.

Criterion clv version is among the best laserdiscs I've seen. Excellent video and audio. Its single disc with extras/commentary. You dont get gatefold cover but same cover art. I believe all other releases are p&s.
