I'll have to recheck mine. I know my Blade Runner and Halloween don't have them, fairly sure anyway. |

I think they did this mostly with earlier stuff, trying to explain things like still galleries and multi audio before those things were more well known. A lot of people still had analog only decks so you had to print out a thing explaining that they need to buy another player if they want stereo because Leonard Maltin is all up in the analog left. Things like that. Many Criterion LDs don't have any of these features so there is nothing to explain. |

That makes more sense. I know High Noon was one of the earlier Criterion discs. The stereo/non-stereo player deal makes sense. |
