A little before my time, but sounds like you would bet on a name, the odds would change each race and then it would play a video off the disc for a desired outcome. I think there are a couple clips up on YouTube.

Hi If anyone knows where I can find a Quarter Horse Laserdisc like this, do let me know. The one shown is sadly untrackable. Im trying the Laserdisc games site - 'Dragons Lair Project' which is the most obvious search option but trying here too might give me leads...? I have one already but it has developed laser-rot... From time to time it pops up on ebay Germany, selling in the price range between $ 25-40. Its unusual, but without the arcade machine its almost useless, or ? You only have several movie clips with horses racing around. The dog race is a little more common, but not much cheaper. ( $ 20-35 ) |
