Hello. There are some questions that come to my mind. Can these two devices open 3D HDVS discs with 3D glasses? Also does it support DTS and Dolby Digital? If so, how is AC-3 RF connected? Thank you.

Nice trolling!

They can do DOLBY ATMOS over ST Fiber connector as well.

All the connectors are described here, and that's all you get:

Sony HDL-2000 (HDVS)
Sony HDL-5800 (HDVS)

Hello, "Can play Digital Audio soundtracks (DTS requires a digital output)" I asked because it was written. Do I need to connect AC-3 RF with an XLR cable? My knowledge in these matters is weak and I am a novice.

They don't support any of that. MUSE/HDVS goes at best to 3+1 (Left/Center/Right/Rear).

Check the connectors list again.

So do they support 3D HDVS discs? Also are there 3D glasses for HDVS? I saw Sony's 120Hz (not 60) flicker-free 3D glasses prototype (1995 model) for the MUSE LD (there's a photo with the HIL-1000 player and the KW-3200HD). But I haven't seen any for HDVS. If so, with which cable is it connected?

The SONY picture is as far as I could go with standard MUSE players.

They might have tried something since we have a few entry as Wings (3D) [00QW-0352] or Tahiti (3D) [00QW-9063] but that's all we know.

The 1999 SONY HDVS catalog simply says to enjoy 3D contents, a 3D video system is required.
It also says you had to buy the HDVS disc twice to watch it in 3D so... also 2 HDVS players!

You can see a lot of HDVS demo discs here => https://www.youtube.com/@ReelyInteresting/search?query=hdvs

Blast from the past!

I can see a HDL-2000 and a MST-1000.

It looks like SANYO did the same in the 90's with their Sanyo HVL-BM2000 (BASEBAND):

https://eiga.com/extra/oguchi/11/2/

Quote:
In the same year, the company released a high-definition 3D system for commercial use. This system consisted of a switcher, system controller, and two baseband videodisc players, and was installed in museums' high-definition 3D theaters and other locations.

To clarify, 3D HD baseband discs (Sony or Sanyo) were package deals that consisted of a left eye and right eye disc (hence why they were twice the price; they were not identical discs). These discs were then played with 2 baseband players, synced via RS232. They could then be hooked up to two separate polarized projectors for HD theaters or museums.

Similar RS232 control on baseband discs were used for a very different purpose too: slideshows. Such a system was used during the announcement of the Mercedes Benz S-Class at the 1991 Geneva International Motor Show.

Also, I have playlist for every unique format on my channel page including HDVS discs. No need to search. :) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_uPJws ... HpXkEsJCwM

I knew you would have some inputs on the 3D replay characteristics :-)
