If you have a Hi-Vision LD player, & would like to explore its MUSE capability, but are ambivalent about owning the available discs (especially at the prices asked), or are waiting for one particular title to come around, have I got the deal for you! Instead of buying, sight unseen, a disc you might only watch once or twice, you can rent one from me. The selection is small now, I admit, but with the revenue I get from rentals, I should be able to afford more. (I will even rent you a MUSE decoder to play it through — see my other thread.) Discs AvailableRomantic GreeceMaeda - Hills of the Seasons(By special arrangement only, please inquire)Imperial Wedding CeremonyUrsa Minor BlueThe Test DiskTermsOffer good in USA & possessions only, to avoid issues with customs. You pay postage by USPS Priority Mail, with tracking & insurance, both ways, plus the rental fee. The fee is $20 per week, per disc, calculated from the date that you receive the parcel until the date you send it again (according to the USPS Delivery Confirmation information), with one day's grace allowed. In other words, if you get it on a Wednesday & send it again the following Wednesday, that counts as one week. Send me a private message via this forum when you are interested in a rental. When the disc(s) you want is (are) available, I will inform you ; on receipt of a deposit of $90 (for one disc ; ask regarding multiple rentals), I will mail the disc(s) & provide tracking information. Once you have mailed the disc(s) back, we will settle up, with one of us paying the other, depending on whether the deposit is greater or less than the total of my postage costs plus the actual rental charge. PayPal is preferred, using the "personal" option to avoid fees, but other arrangements can be made. Discs will ship in a generic packaging, using plastic-lined paper inner sleeves in plain card jackets, to avoid damage to the original packaging.

I'm in Texas, Fort Worth to be precise, which is near Dallas if you know that better.
I have another thread for renting a decoder, but I am not sanguine about shipping players! For months before I bought my player, I was posting notices on forums, asking if anybody had one I could use, within about 400 miles in any direction, so between about Houston TX & Wichita KS. (I had a MUSE disc for years before I ever bought a decoder, & a decoder for about a year before I got a player.) There were never any replies, although I am sure there are a few X0s & X9s in the third-most-populous State in the Union.
But I wouldn't be opposed in principle to setting up a viewing opportunity of some sort.
