When did they stop making them? Where can they be found other than ebay? and how are they when compared to LD? Is there a full list of titles?

I take it you mean official D-VHS releases? There are D-VHS releases and there D-Theater releases. This is about as complete a list as I've seen . . .

How many of those have actually made it to market? Can't say for sure. You'll have to check LDDb to see. I have read that the last D-Theater release was I, Robot.

Wish I didn't look at that list because now there are some I would be interested in finding but they are probably rare.

I wish I hadn't looked now too.
When you see such a small list you think maybe I could start collecting them. But then you realise how rare they are and how expensive it would be to try to get them all.
If I knew where to buy them I would still buy a few or try and get my favourite movies. I bought a V2000 movie last month just to say I have one and show all my friends.
I have no way of ever playing it and its in German as well  so I would not understand it even if I could watch it.

Basically, the D-Theater releases look like Blu-ray. They are 1080i.
You can't compare them to LD at all.
LD looks very sorry in comparison.
You can't even compare them to MUSE LD, because MUSE looks very sorry in comparison too.
I remember when Blu-Ray and HD-DVD were brand new...
and some movies looked better on D-Theater, they had to re-release the first BD for "I, Robot" for example.
Just my opinion of course.

More like fact since the bitrates between Blu-ray and D-Theater aren't that far apart (36Mbps for Blu-ray vs 28Mbps for D-Theater) and initially Blu-ray used MPEG-2 compression like D-Theater did (they have since moved onto h.264 or better for compression.)

Also, D-VHS in STD mode (720x480 resolution) looked better than DVD since it had a higher bitrate.

Where have you heard that? I don't know about any re-release of the film (other than the 3D version of course). The Fifth Element was re-released though.

Maybe I remembered it wrong then.
