A few places to find these besides eBay/Amazon which have retail outlets. Office Depot still have HD DVD-R's on their website. They show in stock. A little pricey at 14.99/each.

Also, Walmart is still selling studio HD DVD's on their website, a few different titles, although they are priced like they were 5 years ago. Much cheaper elsewhere. Interesting that they still have them for sale and haven't discounted them to get them out of inventory.

I bought those Memorex HD-DVD+R at $0.70 each from TJ-Max (surprised?) around the time HD-DVD died. Wife wanted to check out TJ Max, I was like I will wait in the car. Then she called me she said there blank HD-DVDs. I ran inside and grabbed all of them. There were maybe 4 or 5. Then we went to all near by TJ Max and Marshalls locations. Some had one or two at .70cent each. I grabbed all those of course.
I went home and went on ebay to see what they go for. They were already $15 a piece or more. I decided to buy a HD-DVD burner instead of selling them. I ordered 912A from HK for $90 shipped, only to find out its IDE only. My laptop is sata so I ordered an external housing. I have not burned any HD-DVD yet. I have so few(like 15 blanks) I cant decide.

In 2008 to 2010, forgot the year I saw some sold on Andrews AFB in Maryland. I don't know why or how AAFES got some but they sold them. I think they wanted $10+ for them in the bargain bin but knowing AAFES that is par the course.
