Alien Resurrection (1997) [EE 1230], I never saw a copy (not in real life and not on auction sites) so I questioned myself has this ever been released as these UK Encore release are not rare and show up quite often.

So I went to http://web.archive.org, checked http://www.enc.co.uk - checked dates Feb & Apr 1999 (as their "new" website http://www.encoredirect.co.uk is redirected to pet food)

Here I captured the below : it seems early 1999 it "still" wasnt released, so their website couldnt give confirmation, but as Encore Entertainment was at the end of their business around that time it's still an open search.

Anyone a confirmation ?

Alien Resurrection was announced with a batch of other releases that got half cancelled.
And then postponed to 1999. By then Encore stopped releasing.

The latest update to this page remains stuck on 22nd January 1999.

Given the ratio of collection-to-wishlist, and the stock cover image, it quite safe to assume it was cancelled.

That would make these releases the last batch that made it before Encore Ent. shut down:

I also changed these titles to Cancelled because:

• No cover picture after all these years
• Only wishlists, not a single copy in collection
• Not listed on Encore Ent. website as released/available

I can confirm never to have seen any of these titles in real life.

The following titles were referenced/announced in their Winter 1995/1996 catalogue with a release date in 1996 (which is the only Encore Entertainment catalogue I own unfortunately):
