I had them on tape and have a reasonably good transfer to DVD, but the quality isn't as good as laserdisc.

Glad we are back on topic. My thread jumped the shark so to speak several times. That is a Happy Days tv show expression.

The dvd people are not paying the rights to keep original soundtracks in several cases. Laserdisc or vhs is the only way to obtain them now.

I've said it before but I want Madonna's video's LaserDisc 93:99 - I want it so bad I'm like Veruca Salt; "I want the disc - I want the LaserDisc, Bad Girl and Fever and Beautiful Stranger, don't care how, I want it now!"

I'd pay $100 for that disc.

I would like to get Dark City as it's one of my favourite films. There's plenty of copies for sale in the USA just not so here and the international shipping costs put me off. Would also like Roger Rabbit, Titan AE and would love to get Transformers the movie but it's a crazy price on ebay.

I might have a clear of out about 80 titles that are in storage, basically ones I don't watch or don't really want.

Some of my most wanted films are all late release laserdiscs:
The Matrix
American Pie
South Park
The world is not enough
Lock, stock and a Two Smoking Barrels
Deep Blue Sea
Disneys Tarzan

They either never come up or are really really expensive when they do.

Damn. Little spendy, but I think I'd drop forty bones for Spookies. Though I'd be weary about it being sealed. I see that seller has quite a few horror laserdiscs for sale. Wish the prices weren't being driven so high.

I have not been into to LD's long, and I have spent virtually no time searching for titles. However, I hate to say that I saw several titles that I am looking for mentioned.
