I currently own class of nuke Em high and class of nuke Em high 2 and I'm aware that the toxic avenger came out on laserdisc, but I was wondering if any other Troma titles came out on laserdisc as well. Anyone know or have any? Surf nazis must die in particular?

Just curious!

Thanks all!

Chosen One, The: Legend of the Raven (1998) (Uncut) [TRO-7110]

Mother's Day (1980) (Uncut) [TRO-7300]

Chopper Chicks In Zombie Town (1991) [ID2465LI]

Ferocious Female Freedom Fighters (1983) [ID7843ME]

When Nature Calls (1985) [ID5081]

Stuff Stephanie in the Incinerator (In Deadly Heat) (1989) [ID7849ME]

Blades (1989) [ID7853ME]

And lest we forget - Deadly Daphne's Revenge.

Evil Clutch was released by Troma but not made by them. (It was actually an Italian effort.)

do people actually like Troma movies?
i always hated watching these movies coz Troma used amateur actors
they were kinda violent back in the 80's, most Troma films were probably banned by swedish censorship

they where tricky to find, but they got easier in the 90s. But serious, in the 90s. Cannibal the musical, terror firmer, Toxic avanger and decamitated was extremly popular amongs me and my friends. It might be that it was a bit tricky to get them and if you got them, you was the only one having them, hehe.

Super rare troma releases:
Stuck On You! (1982) [88C59-6200]
First Turn-On, The (1983) [88C59-6191]
Squeeze Play (1979) [88C59-6190]
Waitress! (1982) [88C59-6201]
Screamplay (1985) [88C59-6203]

Good luck finding them nowdays. I have First turn on, missed out on squeeze play coz of some mix up with a payment 2 years ago.

I just got Stuck On You! (1982) [88C59-6200] for 660 yen + shipping. Haven't seen much Troma movies in general. Got Troma's War on VHS recently, which I thought were hilarious. Guess I have to check out more movies!

Hi samaron,

Troma's War was released on laserdisc, but only in Hong Kong. This was also the case for Fortress of Amerikkka. Both of these were titles released in HK from ERA Home Video. Also, one of my most recent discoveries is that Body Parts (1992) was released only in Taiwan by a small publisher called Nova Enterprise Limited. I'm sure that there are probably other examples such as these, but I can't think of any more that I'm aware of at this point. Most likely others will surface sometime in the future.

Best Regards,
David

Thanks for the great info. I now remember Tromas War, but I had never seen the Fortress of Amerikka, wow. But for making it easier, please add the links next time:

Hong Kong:
Troma's War (1988) [ERA-54-93]
Fortress of Amerikkka (1989) [ERLD-2007]

Taiwan:
Body Parts (1992) [NV-0026]

And if you are the owner of the taiwan disc, please add a picture, would love to see that.

I'm sure some of the movies might be easier to find on DVD/BD. Although the LD cover art is usually a lot nicer, which is why I like to collect this format. :) Tracking down Hong Kong and Taiwan releases is not easy, at least not for me. Don't have the proper contacts in those areas to get that done. :P

I know for a fact that Wizards of the Demon Sword was released in Hong Kong on the Era label as I used to own this disc.
