I'm curious to know the deal with the few Bond THX printed Discs, how do they compare to other versions(MGM etc)?
I know some have ac-3 mix, are there any changes to the mono as well? Or any picture or transfer differences?

The picture is very similar to first special editions dvd, I think same master was used, with an advantage that anamorphic dvd collection, connected with s-video or component YpBpr RGB, gave much higher resolution. It also had the same so called "baby hands" artwork. The weird thing about that thx laserdisc edition is, it appeared complete on NTSC Laserdisc only as P&S in Hong Kong (English audio and rare to find) and PAL widescreen in France and Germany (French or German audio), without all beautiful extras. I still wish that MGM would have released all in boxes with extras, like only Goldfinger and Thunderball in US. Most beautiful LD boxes I ever bought.
