While I have read the book and watched the film I must say the movie is much better even if hacked.
They did have it on instant netflix a few years ago widescreen, though it would have been released by now.

Either CGI the crap out of the original to finish it or get one of these new fanboy directors to remake it shot for shot as every other new film is done anyway.

It's still on UK Netflix last time I checked. HD master, I'm amazed it hasn't had a physical release considering it's clearly had a new mastering.

Good evening Guys,

THE KEEP ......... I managed to get hold of this on laserdisc US in the years 2000 to 2001.

This is rare to get hold of, although I didn't know this at the time, I certainly do know now, and the picture is fine also, sound well it's the sound that was available on release and I am happy with it.
