i have the japanese disc and am 99% it is uncut.

FYI, Nameless media in Germany are releasing an unrated Blu-ray release and I believe the master could be struck from the original negative.

I got it! I finally added the UK LD to my collection. This was one of my "holy grails" of Laserdiscs, and eight months of searching later, it is now here, in my hands. Some days it just feels good to be alive.

jämförde du dom olika versionerna mellan BD och LD?
stämmer uncut status på båda utgåvorna?

speltid conversion mellan NTSC vs PAL är cirka 4 minuter.

Hi all! Does anyone know if the French and/or Japanese releases of Fortress (1993) are uncut? I know the UK LDs and VHS tapes were (I own the UK VHS). If the French release is uncut, then I can make my own English audio track later, but it would be easier to just get a hold of the UK release. I'd prefer no Japanese subtitles, but if it's uncut, I will consider the Japanese LD. Does the Japanese disc have this scene in it? It happens in the first 10 minutes or so, if I remember correctly. EDIT: Nameless Media is indeed releasing the unrated version, but the previously censored material is upscaled from an SD source (http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=291890&page=2). I already have the US R-rated version on BD, the slightly longer (but still not complete) European version on DVD and the complete version on PAL VHS, so this German BD is not that interesting to me. I'd rather have the uncut LD, if I could only find it!

Jeg har den uklipte UK VHS, som jeg tenkte å sammenligne med. Mulig jeg får gjort det til helgen.
