Just saw the film last night. Really enjoyable. Struck a nice balance between the scares and the humor. Anyone else seen It yet?

Saw it today!

It played well on kids' fears and the clown (as well as the parents!) is creepy.

So nice of them that this new version comes exactly 27 years after It: Stephen King's (1990) [12198]

Yeah a lot of people have caught on to the fact that this version comes 27 years after the miniseries. Couldn't have timed it better IMO.

Speaking of the 1990 version, what does the few extra minutes on the LD consist of? I heard it was just the intros to each episode as they were aired. Those portions were subsequently removed from later DVD/BD releases.
