I found this site a few months ago and forgot to post it, it has some interesting information if you are into silent films, or even films in general. http://www.silentera.com/index.html They post some great information about the releases and if it was on LD at one time. I know there aren't that many on this site who have interested in silent films but I do hope this site helps if you didn't know about it already. |

Cool website. One of the reasons I got into LD was to see Erich Von Stroheim's Greed. The only commercial NTSC release was on LD and I believe also on VHS: Greed (1924) [ML101360] Its a shame this film doesn't get a Criterion-like release on Blu Ray. Same goes for Abel Gance's Napoleon. One of these day's I need to see the Kevin Brownlow version of Napoleon. |

Good to see you back Dune. Yes, its a real shame that there are some of these films that haven't been re-release when we are lucky enough to still have some of the prints. |
