Post subject:  Silent Film Website that others may find interesting

I found this site a few months ago and forgot to post it, it has some interesting information if you are into silent films, or even films in general.

They post some great information about the releases and if it was on LD at one time.

I know there aren't that many on this site who have interested in silent films but I do hope this site helps if you didn't know about it already. :thumbup:

Cool website. One of the reasons I got into LD was to see Erich Von Stroheim's Greed. The only commercial NTSC release was on LD and I believe also on VHS: Greed (1924) [ML101360]

Its a shame this film doesn't get a Criterion-like release on Blu Ray. Same goes for Abel Gance's Napoleon. One of these day's I need to see the Kevin Brownlow version of Napoleon.

Yes, its a real shame that there are some of these films that haven't been re-release when we are lucky enough to still have some of the prints.
