I'm looking for a copy of The Last Chase on Laserdisc. It's a long shot really. I know it received releases on Betamax, VHS and CED, but I cannot find any trace of a Laserdisc release.
I know a DVD came out in 2011 but it commands stupid money and, to the best of my knowledge, the DVD audio was out of sync and the company that put it out never released a corrected print (I may be wrong about that).
Can anyone help? I would love to get a copy of it.

I'd say the "Laserdisc" on Wikipedia is actually a CED.
What a shame. I was really hoping to unearth a Laserdisc copy.
I guess paying a fortune for the DVD version and syncing the audio is the cheapest route for a good one. The VHS seems to appear very rarely but may be doable. Unless anyone here fancies capturing the CED for me if I purchased it?
Obviously you have to check out every solution with a movie this hard to get but honestly CED isn’t any better than VHS, it’s worse than some VHS even. I’d see about fixing the DVD. If it’s a new transfer then that probably has the best video by a mile. If you’re going to capture an ancient source the VHS is probably going get you the same or better results than the CED. CED royally sucks when it comes to video quality. It’s tied with VCD for worse format ever, IMO, and maybe even not as good as that. It’s probably even worse than VCD.

I know what it's like when there's a movie you want but your choice of formats is terrible.
There's a similar movie I want called Terminus, a Franco-German co-production from around the mid-80's that to my knowledge only exists as a dub-only DVD. The only other option is a VHS.

It's not exactly a good movie (2.9/10 on IMDb) but it's famous for having late-French rock star Johnny Hallyday as an actor and some very early French computer graphics.
If you understand French language, one of our LDDB users (gorkab) did an episode on old French CGX movies in the 80's in the following video:
