I own 28 of the listed 3M titles on LDDB.com.

I initially bought a few of these discs on Ebay many years ago from various music video jockeys.
I was lucky enough to get in contact with one particular guy from the US who owned a large quantity - about 22 in total.
Unlike the ones that occasionally turn up on Ebay his copies were pristine - no scratches as he had owned
them all from new and looked after them and they were also all verified to be free from rot so I bought the entire lot from him.
Another guy about 5 years later who also owned most of the titles listed some for sale. I bought the few missing titles I needed to complete the set.

These are some of my personal favourite music LDs as they cover a golden period in music from 1985-1990 with lots of rare music videos that I've never seen appear on other discs.

I've referenced a few of these discs in other music threads e.g.

Foreigner music laserdiscs
Steve Winwood music laserdiscs

I was informed by one of the guys who bought them from new that they originally cost $200 USD per disc and that was back in the 80's so you can guess how expensive they might be now.

Not the copies I own however they certainly can be if you're not careful who you are buying from.

I found a couple on eBay a while ago (I forget if they were sealed or not) - some have areas of rot alas. A lot of these were sadly from 3M's rot period.

I agree you will want to buy from a trusted source.
The very first disc I bought from this series was rotted on one side because it came from a random Ebay seller.
All the others were like new - no rot because the original owners had been very careful to verify them for me before I purchased. The sleeves on most of mine still have the original shrinkwraps on them. As promotional music LDs go these are some of the toughest to acquire as there aren't many in circulation and even fewer in perfect condition.

I managed to pickup another batch of five 3M promotional music LDs recently.
Again despite the fact they are really old 3M discs all play perfectly - absolutely no rot on any of them.
As with the others I'd checked with the seller before purchasing.

They have fewer tracks with only 17 max per disc instead of 25 or 26.
The additonal space on the disc seems to have been used for random adverts and preview clips of the full length clips at the start and end of the discs.
Some of the content overlaps with the others in the series, some doesn't.
They are marketed as LVM (Laserdisc Video Music) discs which you pick a track to play in a coin operated jukebox.
Most of the tracks are very memorable - big hits that virtually everyone would remember which you'd expect for jukebox selections.
The pop/rock music videos are all from the same basic era 1985 -1986 - actually my favourite period in the 80's.

A few highlights not on the others are:
Bryan Ferry - Don't Stop the Dance
ELO - Calling America
Aretha Franklin - Another Night
Loverboy - This Could Be The Night
Alan Parsons Project - Stereotomy
Rick Ocasek - True To You
Patti LaBelle - Stir it Up
Thompson Twins - Revolution

I negotiated a private deal (50% discount) with the seller for 4 initially and then they found a 5th disc from the same series so we arrived at a new deal. This meant a quick simple transaction for both of us and the seller even offered to pay half the shipping cost which I didn't even ask for. They arrived extremely well packed, in lovely condition (which definitely isn't common for these types of discs which are often very scratched) and most importantly of all they played perfectly - absolutely no rot. The seller has no more left sadly otherwise I would have bought them as well. I think this whole series is probably my favourite promo music LDs in my entire collection and I have almost 1000 promotional music LDs currently. It is just the music I remember listening to so much from my teenage years.

You're a lucky collector.
I wish me more discs!
Sometimes "to be or not to be rotten" depends on the luck.
