I believe the quality of analogue audio on LD also vastly depends on your player's capabilities.

High-end players such as the HLD-X0 or the HLD-X9 have an excellent dedicated board for analogue audio. I have already listened to many analogue audio tracks on
my HLD-X0 and I find some of them to be truly excellent ! A cheaper LD player might provide you with an entirely different result.

And to answer the question, a well mastered LP from music on vinyl, Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab or any other good disc played on a very good system ( the cartridge is the decisive
factor here ! ) can sound absolutely fantastic and beats anything out there but that's only my opinion. I do not care about the technical specs. I only trust my ears and they tell
me that vinyl is fantastic with the proper configuration.

Yeah!! I'm not a spec guy either, music & videi is FEELING, not specs!
