Hey all - I have a CLD-D503, and could use some help identifying the connections pints for the AC-3 mod.

So, can someone help me locate

assuming the instruction in another post in this forum is correct in NOT connecting RF ground (RTN?) from the system to the new board (ie just as a cable shield from the new board)(seems right to me!).

Anyone?

The RF GND is just the analog audio GND on the Audio circuit board

OK - got it - is single-ended shield ( 'guarding' cable from new board towards RF source) correct?
Also is it marked on audio board?
Any others located?

No, it is not all marked on the audio board. You need to do an internet search for installing the mode or find a site that will sell you a 503 service manual. The service manual on this website in the LD manual section is the operational supplement, you need the actual service manual with schematics. Pioneer is out of stock for this.
