Post subject: Reconmend an LD Player for my specs Posted: 29 Dec 2012, 23:24 |
|
Hey all, i've tried to do some research without any straight answers. An i dont want to spwnd money on uncomfirmed info.
I have a Pioneer CLD-v2600. But id like to have a player that supports AC3, DTS and loads both sides of an LD automatically.
Ive seen DTS and Ive seen Dolby RF but in havent found one that is both. Is there such a thing? Thanks!

If you just want both sides, AC-3, and a digital out, then you can usually get a cld-d604, 406, etc. pretty cheap on eBay You can check out a bunch of players at laserdiscarchive.co.uk (look for the list of brands on the far right side)

rein-o wrote: it all depends on how much you want to spend. you can spend a little or a lot. all player with digital toslink will do DTS but you need the AC-3 out that not all player have. Coax digital output will work for DTS too - I write that not to correct you but so the OP doesn't get the idea that only Toslink supports DTS. As we all know, the LaserDisc format is complex and people get confused by its details easily.
