Saw some talk of Theta's in another post so here is my look inside the Theta Voyager
Very nice!
It will give me stuff to work on to design a comprehensive LD Player database section: so many connector types I didn't know existed for LD players!
Substance had a run-down of all Theta player insides
here (in
Theta Voyager Universal transport):

Data 1 is philips cdv400. An opamp buffer at the digital audio out. That's it.
Data 2 is cld-701. No upgrades. Maybe same buffer at the digital out?
Data 3 is cld-704. No upgrades but aes digital output added. Att optical added.
Voyager (version 1) is dvl-919. New power supplies. Seperate supply for audio and video.
Voyager (version 2) is dvl-919. All above plus optional sil503/4 (dvdo) deinterlacing board, optional sdi output.

I think that might be old info, Theta Data II is the Philips CDV400 (I can confirm I had one), the Theta Data III is 704 (or 99 who knows) and the Theta Voyager he would know because I got it from him
.
I have never seen a Data I though I know it exists -
http://thetadigital.com/legacy_products.shtml#data maybe the Data I and II were both Philips??
I think Substance still has the Voyager with the deinterlacing board, maybe he will see this and post some pics.
