Hi,

I like to browse my local online kijiji site- similar to Craigslist- and I see someone is selling a Genexxa laserdisc player for $80.

I have never heard of this brand. Now, if I were to make a guess, I'd say it's an old house brand Radio Shack player, but I have no idea if that guess is right.

Does anyone know anything about the Genexxa brand of player? No reference to it on the U.K. laserdisc player website....

This is definitely an OEM player, but I'm not having any luck with the manufacturer.

I've added it to my master list.

It looks like a lower end player, but it does have Karaoke.
If its working, you can get it a little cheaper and you are close to pick it up I would do it.
Time is now to start stockpiling working players.

Apparently Genexxa was a Radio Shack brand?

I've never come across a Genexxa before so it must have been a short-lived model.

I have my eye on a Marantz unit that's on kijiji. It's described as a CDV500K. Odd model number that I can't track down... no remote but I told the guy if he can find the remote, I'd check the unit out and buy it if it's in good working order.
