You will need to purchase a player made around 1984 or later that does have "digital sound" built in to play your disc properly as the main soundtrack is only on the digital tracks (analog was used for commentary only as you stated).
Dave Thanks for the response. Looks like i'll stick with my LX-H670 for playing movies with digital only movie audio.
