It been awhile since my last post, but I'm still hunting for a working player.
And this time I think I might got myself my best chance of getting one with Pioneer CLD-1070.
The seller just said it worked well it just that CD takes while to load but when it did it works well he asked $25 for it. (Converted from our currency of 800 THB)
Price wise I'm down with this thing but it will have to be next month instead I ran out of budget for this month.

my first ever working LDP was the immediate step-up from the -1070, the -1080.

it wasn't a bad player, just not the CLD-3030, -3070, -91 or LD-S1 that i had truly lusted after at the time.

an anecdotal aside; my -1080 was short lived, as i stumbled with it, and it slipped right out of my grasp and took a fatal trip down
my grandmother's dangerously steep staircase.

this was a good decade ago, but i do recall it being an O.K. LDP during the two weeks/month i owned it up to that little bit of comic tragedy...

I just paid for the player now the seller will personally bring the player near to my house and I'll receive it there directly.
Seller's an audiophile hoarder he have mountains of players and amplifier in his house.

I finally received the player and now test playing for over twenty minutes now it works great.
Can it complete a whole disc playback? finger crossed...It did but I also did find that playback can skip for a second or two around seven to nine minute mark on at least few of my discs.
