Spotted this on Gumtree, thought someone here might be interested. Somewhat cheaper than the usual ebay UK price. http://www.gumtree.com/p/other-tv-dvd-c ... 1081516929Usual disclaimers - it isn't me selling this, I have no idea if it's any good or not. Gumtree isn't a mail order service, you have to collect the goods from the vendor and pay cash, so remember to factor this into the cost if you're interested.

If anyone on here is local and would fancy doing the leg work for me I'll gladly pay for your time. That would be because I decided to buy it. I've arranged to pick it up tomorrow. Sorry...

happycube wrote: Yipes, I had no idea what these were suddenly selling for on eBay now. A lot of new ones for $249 each, and people are paying that. I wasn't going to buy it, but I realised a couple of days ago that the Yamaha makes more sense with my setup than the Onkyo demodulator I'm currently using, which connects via five component analog signals - I want to use those inputs for a computer. The Onkyo demodulator is also quite a large unit, and I'm a bit short of space, so getting the Yamaha makes sense. I'm also going to buy a few disks to make the trip more worthwhile. Once I'm satisfied with the Yamaha I'll probably sell the Onkyo unit.
