If you thought that shipping an X0 from Japan was expensive, imagine the shipping on this pair of Accuphase M-1000 monoblocs! http://www.hifido.co.jp/KWaccuphase/G01 ... -64360-00/ Over 1000 real watts of power output from each, at a gut busting weight of over 100 pounds a piece. What cool looking amps: Accuphase gear has a timeless design - the big meters, wood side panels, and gold finish are real class. Browsing Hifido is a double edged experience: marvel at the loads of high end Japanese gear, and sorrow at lack of funds to snag one of these treasures.

That's cheap compared to the speakers you'd need to have to justify such amazing amps.

Well, if you have the money to buy those amps and have them shipped, you would probably have the money to buy the speakers that won't be blown away by those 1000w monsters.
