Very cool, did you get the poster or the film??
I haven't seen that one yet but I do love the hulk and since he is in this I really want to see it soon.

Metro area I'm guessing? Not the suburbs an hours drive out of the city? In Australia suburbs of Sydney 2 hours away have these tiny blocks.

The price for something like this a metre from the neighbors with a tiny yard? Nothing less than $2 million anywhere near Sydney.

So I bought Dark Entries' 2014 release of Charlie - Spacer Woman on vinyl...

...which turns out to have some major mastering mistakes because apparently they completely botched the mix, the bass arpeggio on both sides is significantly reduced to the point it changes the whole sound of the song, along with a bunch of technical errors on the Instrumental version on side B.

Or so I read on the discogs comments. The person at least provided samples comparing this repress to the original, so you can see the difference for yourself.

At least I didn't get around to opening it. I hope the shop accepts returns! :(

Had been postponing it for a while but with my Lumagen 2144, adding another HDMI input with audio split to Amp will be trivial so...

Some of you already know I (and still am) an Amiga fan back in the 80's/90's from A500 to A1200 and Raspberry Pi 3 does wonder!

First I ordered a 3D-printed case:

And now I'm waiting for the newly released Raspberry Pi 3 B+ to eventually be distributed in Singapore and add Amibian on it to run a nearly 100% perfect Amiga experience back again for really cheap.

That's pretty nice. I have two Raspberries. I had an Amiga 600 and an Amiga CD32 console back in the 90s. I am a huge Amiga fan.

Nice little case! I didn't feel like emulating, so I set on building a tower converted A1200 (which got a bit out of hand). Messed up the system installation a while back and haven't reinstalled it, yet. Probably should do that soon, as it would be nice to play some ProTracker tunes and play some demoscene stuff again.

I bought a new replacement stylus for my Ortofon 2M Black cartridge. I got it for a very good price so I can keep it just in case the old one worns out or something else happens with it.

I bought an Oppo 203. Wasn’t really ready to go 4K but didn’t want to miss out on getting what I consider to be the finest player available.

Picked up some older anime, Kimagure Orange Road OVA/Movie set and Macross Plus (ova dvds ofc not the movie version). I'd still like to get Macross Plus JP LDs but for now, these cheap dvds will suffice.

The Bug, Dire Straits on CD
English Settlement, XTC also on CD
Demon Gaze 2 for PS Vita
Dark Crystal, Superbit, haven't seen this since middle school.
S-video cable, wanted to test the difference between S-video and composite on my DVL-909 since apparently it all goes through Y/C separation anyway.

found this a couple days back at my local GW. not the high-end PIONEER component i'd prefer to come across,
but a TOTL Nakamichi product just isn't something to be taken in passing, either.

besides, i just couldn't bring myself to leave 30 healthy pounds worth of high-end CD player behind,
especially when i nominally never seem to see anything of this caliber in the po-dunk, nowheresville region i'm stuck in;

Nice find!

Meanwhile, as months have gone by, and the true suckitude of The Last Jedi has settled in, I feel like I'm desperately clinging to the era in the franchise's history where I actually enjoyed it - by splurging on various SW items from the past, including a couple of the Marvel comic Omnibuses (still need to pick up volumes 1 and 2), but mostly via the 90's Kenner toys, since those were the ones in stores when I was a kid:

Not pictured: the two dozen plus POTF2 figures I also bought I can't even be bothered to list (mostly because I've forgotten what some of them were)

Ah I want to see this one, I'm not a major fan of Stephen King but have read some of his and have some more to read.

The trailers looked interesting but I'm not familiar with the story as I haven't read that one, and don't have any copy on my horizon.

The Dark Tower was one of the only King things I read after graduating junior high. It’s not exactly Asimov but it’s got a lot of good aspects to it.

I don’t know what that movie was. I mean, the books have color illustrations so people are going to have an opinion on looks right away and I can’t quite understand who that movie was meant to please. King maybe? I mean, I was drawn to The Gunslinger instantly as a book but I don’t see one appealing thing in the trailer for that movie.

I guess one thing’s for sure, it’ll get rebooted like everything else. Maybe that time it will be different.

In 20 years time we'll see "threeboots" because we literally grew up in the greatest time for movies.

The second package of my Sony TA-F808ES finally came in from Germany after being returned to sender once. Wait was worth it. Listening to this is like heaven..wanted one for probably a decade.. badass amp in legend and in reality... I love the philosophy. so the transformer weighs 12 kgs by itself, let's ad a "gibralter" heavyweight chassis and top plate. Okay so how do we make it heavier? wood side panels. That's how  total 28kgs

Bad news is it might have a fault on the left channel, brief static a few times on the first CD I played on it. Hopefully it's just breaking in after a long time switched off and dismanteled.
