what type of mellon is that?
our water mellons are red, it looks like a cross between a cantalope and a
honeydew mellon but the skin is darker on what you have.

To be frank, with you I don't have the slightest clue? My dad gave it to me last Friday and I've had in the fridge until yesterday afternoon as it was sweltering hot!

I see what you mean by the colour and I would guess each Water-Mellon has different taste. I'll buy a few next week from ASDA just means extra shopping to bring due to the size and weight. I used to enjoy Water-Mellons yesteryears ago... maybe late 70's early 80's my dad would occasionally by them. I think the skin was yellow!

Of the skin was yellow, that would be a honeydew mellon, wouldn't it?

Well yes I see what you mean but I wouldn't really know if a Mellon landed on my head. I only know I like the taste of them and it makes me feel good that I've eaten something nice rather than junk food if you, see what mean? :)

I just got off the phone speaking to my dad he said it came from Spain and even he doesn't know the name of it. But he agreed that there are many types with different tastes. and they do taste nice when chilled.

Spanish Melon I guess this is the type I had. :)

That I am. :)
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.

I wouldn't be surprised if the more exotic experiences restaurants or Café bars that do Mellons at high prices. My friend was say the same thing! The processed food that we are most used to and I do have a lot of cheap 71p microwave meals that way I can spend more on Laserdisc  but you still end up feeling hollow with tiny microwave meal that is about right size for my cat, its no wonder he keeps meowing at me when I make meal, maybe I should give him the microwave ready meal and I'll fry some wet cat food for myself.
