I just sold a bunch of LD blanks, it is possible if you can find the blanks and machine to run them with.

Time Gal for the Laseractive is also pretty pricey at the current cost of nearly $1000. Still, the arcade perfect version of Time Gal is one of the few good LD games on the Laseractive: it easily beats the Sega CD port. An original Taito Time Gal arcade machine is genuine unobtainium at this point in time; if one surfaced in Japan it would be worth an astronomical amount. The Laseractive was really made for a game like Time Gal, and there are impressive videos of this game in action on Youtube.

Yeah, I bought them. No, there were no commercial LD recorders for those, just in-house masters at ODC/Nimbus, but I think they're pretty cool. I'll just throw them up on the shelf. Alas, they'll never see any data encoded on them.....

Did those have a special case or something? Looked like the were stored in an A-typical container. Maybe just something you had.

The white containers are what they came in believe it or not. I have a few for myself and am keeping them as well. They are pretty cool. Ok, so now we backwards make a ripper for it, lol.

I wish. The closest were the CRV recorders or the Pioneer VDR 1000, but they used the caddies and can only be played in those recorder machines. It's pretty much a done deal. They'll never be a new LD recording.

You can play it online here

There's quite a few NES games here to play. I have almost all the original NES roms downloaded, not sure why anyone would pay more than a few grand for this game. I can't stand FF. I like Zelda better.

The best part is the cat and he/she is excluded from the deal!
I've absolutely no interest at all in computer games so wouldn't pay $0.50 for it but if he had a large job lot of very rare music LDs I'd be tempted!

I doubt it will go for much. It's PAL for one, so that really limits the buyer market. Looks like there's no sleeve. It's only 1 disc so it's CLV which means it's probably early 90's and not an early release. It's a promo disc, most don't go for a whole lot from what I've seen.

it could also be faster at parts to fit on 2 sides.
also PAL is a different time speed, so it could be correct on the 1 disc?

That's about right I think my Sneakers PAL disc pushes it on one side with the running time.

Seems like he might have been a fake otherwise he would have kept it listed or maybe eBay told him to remove. All I can say is, this item wasn't worth the Risk.

You all know the bird flu is going around, that is risky enough, all we need is the risk to infect this thread and pretty soon we will have 20 risk threads.

You've said Risk Risk how many times? And now you've got me saying it.

The Risk Flex.
So why don't you use it?
Try not to bruise it
Buy time don't lose it
The Risk is an only child he's waiting in the park
The Risk is in charge of finding treasure in the dark
And watching over lucky clover isn't that bizarre
Every little thing the Risk does
