There is one thing I will miss, and that is watching my LD collection without my chocolate Hostess cupcakes, the small ones that come in the 8-pk box Does anyone else feel the same in the States as I do?

Yup, all the people at the Hostess plant in Seattle that lost their jobs. Makes you wonder, they were on strike, now they have NO paycheck. Was that worth the risk

One of the retail stores I go to for day-to-day stuff seems to have procured the last output of our local Hostess bakery. Pallets upon pallets of snackcakes at ridiculous sub-Hostess-thrift-store prices. Like Girl Scout cookies, a lot of people (including myself) bought their favorites for freezing and parceling out until a new buyer picks up the Hostess rights.
I spent last night watching some of my latest LD buys (well, watching and playing, got Maze Mania among other more adult titles), eating fresh raspberry-coconut Zingers.

I'll miss my Drake's Devil Dogs, though, since Hostess bought them out and apparently now are gone.

Well as I was saying yesterday I bought a bunch of Zingers they say Dolly Madison but Hostess owns them Interstate Bakery on the back... Apparently their still operating in Canada and the store said that's where the came from......... Im not sure about anything else from Interstate Bakery out of Canada....
