It's usually sunshine in Sweden during summer but I can use my trenchcoat in autumn. I more thought of Delon in this role.

Actually I am a trained diver, for body recovery purposes, through my Volunteer Fire Department.
Trained as a rescue diver as well, but in my experience the diving is intended for recover operations.

Folks, whenever out on a boat or dock, please wear life vests.
Remember the most important of rules in emergency water accidents :
Reach, throw, row, don't GO ......
Only GO if you are trained and prepared for what may happen with a panicked subject............

we were looking to move into a nearby town that has a volunteer fire dept. not going to since it's a little too far.

Oh well good on you if there was only more like you to taking on such a grave risk undertaking job so that others may live.

I agree with traffic, that should part a way each side to allow you guys to reaching the home/building as speed = seconds to saving lives.

i used to live next to a fire dept. back in NYC for years.
never been upset about them in traffic, but i have been upset at the drivers who made the accidents,
and weren't paying enough attention.
