One of the random quotes (or whatever) I have seen at the top when browsing LDDB is:

"What player is this? It's a LD player, baby.
What's a LD? LD's dead, baby, LD's dead..."

I have always wondered (Julien!) is that just something you made up, is it a real or modified quote from a movie or something, or what?

Just curious.

It's getting harder to find (then tweak) quotes past year 2000...

I can't easily find TV series or movie quotes that echoes as greatly as past classic ones.

Have we diluted our time over too many movies/hours of watching?
Are dialogs not as sharp and witty as they used to be?

I came up with "These aren't the discs you're looking for" and "The more you tighten your grip; the more players slip through your fingers".
Then I got off that Star Wars track and realised it was a call for post 2000 quotes...........
