Super awesome getting to replay these games on my PS4, especially now -- when I first bought the original "Uncharted" back in 2008 I had my PS3 hooked up to a SD TV with some PC speakers as my audio output. Now I'm playing it on an HDTV with 5.1 DTS audio. I had no idea it sounded this good. Uncharted 2 is one of my favorite games of the last generation. Fun, great visuals, entertaining story, good voice acting. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Bought the entire series of Uncharted individually for ps3 a few months ago. I can't get used to the controller configuration in Uncharted - Drakes Fortune and sometimes it makes me furious. Although, I'm about to complete the first game. You can ask me why I didn't buy the remasters for the ps4, I don't have it and I have no plans for getting one either.

FALLOUT 4 IS HERE, BABY I've already sunk hours into it. They don't screw around in 4 -- the difficulty is set to Normal but it's brutal so far. Much more so than 3/New Vegas. thewhitefalcon wrote: I believe the remasters eliminate the SIXAXIS bits in the first game. I believe you're right, no motion control in that game at all on the PS4.

confederate wrote: I bought a PS3 console today, my first one. I love it. It has such a vast library of excellent titles it should last a life time. The graphics are still very impressive in my opinion. If you get the chance I recommend buying the Metal Gear Solid games. With the Ps3 you can get an almost complete collection of the entire series. First (or technically third) game for the Playstation still holds up very well but if you play them all in a short period of time I think Guns of the Patriots is the grand epic while The Phantom Pain remains the most enjoyable.

Bought a bunch of games when I visited Akihabara in Tokyo this December. Picked up quite a bit, for several systems, but mainly the PC Engine. Apparently I ended up with a few p0rn games in the process... Always fun to buy unknown titles. Didn't really buy any expensive games, mainly just some of the cheap ones to fill in holes in the collection. Most proxy sellers don't sell games that require knowledge of the language and such. So took the chance to get some RPGs, digital comics, etc. Really cheap since most foreigners don't buy them. Also good practice for me since I'm actually trying to learn the language. Also picked up a Game Gear and an old original Famicom. Since the Famicom only has RF out, I ended up giving it a simple AV mod when I got home. The guy who sold it tried to explain it would not work outside Japan, and got even more confused when I tried to explain I knew what I were doing. The Framemeister seemed to clean up most of the faults in the video signal actually.

Good evening Guys & Gals, So far one has not ventured into the games console arena, to be honest I have enough items to be getting on with right now in order to complete my AV Setup. It's been a slow process over many years.............. As far as Games consoles go if I was going to venture along this route then the Sony PS4 would be where I would start. Games wise I am quite put off by all of the shoot them up games DON'T LIKE THESE AT ALL! Adventure games, problem solving, driving, motorcycling, Space adventure, educational and so forth. I would be very selective in what I purchase here............ Who knows when this will happen maybe the new VR sets and console....... but one pauses with caution at such things. Thank you for sharing the pictures of all the hardware, and written viewpoints and in depth descriptions, from the experiences and fond memories encountered. Kind Regards to everyone.

Quite a bit smaller than the other combos which were basically two separate units melded with a base plate that needed two power supplies.
