Forgot to post here that I did visit Shanghai Disneyland last November since my girlfriend was going to college in Wenzhou, and I went to visit her. We made it a point to catch a bullet train to Shanghai to go to Disney. We were amazed at how cheap it was compared to the American Disney theme parks. Only US$55 per person to get in.
The
Tron ride was a lot of fun, if a little short. Thankfully though, lines weren't too long so we went on 4 times! And we managed to break
Pirates of the Caribbean. Our boat go stuck in front of Jack Sparrow, and some Cast Members had to help us off the boat.
Beyond the rides, "Disneytown" (similar to "Downtown Disney" in Orlando or Anaheim) was pleasingly affordable too. 3 people eating dinner at
DonDonYa with plum wine to drink was around just US$30 altogether.
Going to post some pics in a bit.
