Quite an impressive park covering a huge area with great new attractions such as TRON (ride), Pirates of the Caribbeans (ride), Pirates of the Caribbeans (show), Soaring over the Horizon (ride), Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (ride), a dedicated Star Wars section, Tarzan (show), great evening castle show and fireworks, etc.

I've done several times Disneyland Paris, Disney Studio Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo Disneysea and Hong Kong Disneyland and I still got wow'ed a few times by the efforts and money spent by Disney on this new park. The attention to details is, as usual with Disney, unbelievable.

Thanks for the post, looks like quite a place.

Was the TRON ride as spectacular as it looks?

Thanks again.

Since you're seating like on a motorbike and the acceleration is swift and continuous, it's quite exciting to believe you're a TRON light bike!

They keep playing the Daft Punk score in the background and I think they reused some of the derived music from TRON: Uprising animated series (recommended).

I did it twice, the first time for surprise, the second time for fun!

The black and blue (LEDs) stage is gorgeous.

Thanks Julien & it does look so cool in the pictures.

I could see myself on that ride more than once also but that is highly unlikely to happen so it is great to see a glimpse & hear your views on it & the park here.

Take care & regards.

Forgot to post here that I did visit Shanghai Disneyland last November since my girlfriend was going to college in Wenzhou, and I went to visit her. We made it a point to catch a bullet train to Shanghai to go to Disney. We were amazed at how cheap it was compared to the American Disney theme parks. Only US$55 per person to get in.

The Tron ride was a lot of fun, if a little short. Thankfully though, lines weren't too long so we went on 4 times! And we managed to break Pirates of the Caribbean. Our boat go stuck in front of Jack Sparrow, and some Cast Members had to help us off the boat.

Beyond the rides, "Disneytown" (similar to "Downtown Disney" in Orlando or Anaheim) was pleasingly affordable too. 3 people eating dinner at DonDonYa with plum wine to drink was around just US$30 altogether.

Going to post some pics in a bit.
