Hello everyone! I was checking my music collection of CDs, SACDs, dts CDs, etc. and found that a few of my plastic cases were damaged and need replacement. I could buy them on Amazon but they are sold in packs of 10 minimum (when I need 1 or 2) or I just don't know what the package type is called... So here it. 1/ I'm looking for 1 empty dual-CD fully transparent jewel case that looks like that: To replace a smashed copy of this guy who arrived poorly packed by Amazon and of of course case was completely damaged. They gave me a 50% refund and now all I have to do is replace the cover to make it look new again. 2/ Also looking for 2 "VHS sized" transparent jewel case that were used for some DVD Audio and dts CDs but I don't know how they are called. They look like that: Would anyone here have some spare? I'd be glad to buy them for a reasonable price + cover for shipping and trouble. Julien

For your DTS Audio cracked cases you could try this company who sell cases like that which are known as Super Jewel Cases. There are different sizes available. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_odkw= ... _sacat=617I'm not sure of the exact size your cases are but they appear to have full range and also sell them individually as well as in larger quantities.

The larger cases look very much like the ones a particular budget dvd company used to use several years ago in the u.s. Unfortunately I can't remember for certain the name of the company (maybe it was called "platinum discs") nor any of the titles (they were mostly pretty forgettable titles - but a few them were actually also released on ld prior to the budget dvd company releasing them - again any specific titles are eluding me right now) - I still see them once in awhile at the thrift stores. Next time I see any at the thrift store I can snag a couple and then I can measure one to see if they are the same. They are very close to the dimensions of a regular dvd case except noticeably thinner. Edit - a little bit of googling and it was indeed "Platinum discs" - here is one of them - you can see the clear band on the edge - and the whole case is clear when you take everything out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Family-Enforcer ... SwYqxXipr-Another type of case that is a b**ch kitty to find are the oversize jewel cases that were used for sega cds, saturns and some of the very early ps1 games.

Interestingly, the dts CD that came in these package have a "DVD Audio" logo inside but my Metallica Black Album DVD Audio doesn't! How to confuse customers Ordering 2 SJB and one 2-CD clear case + shipping cost didn't make sense financially so I will keep hoping to find some spare selling by the unit somewhere in Singapore or Wherever I May Roam. Sw-kdXyDU9This one has both hinges broken - a common problem since they won't take much abuse. I only have a couple of Saturn Japanese releases -they are just regular cd jewel cases - I have seen a few with long boxes but those have been similar to the non-jewel case long boxes for the early playstation 1.

I have some super jewel boxes and they just fit normal CD paraphenalia.

Oh by oversize I thought you meant 2 disc games. Yeah Saturn just used normal ones, the ones I'm looking for have a solid spine instead of 2 spines.

If I can piggyback on this thread I'm looking for Japanese '90s style big box 2CD cases anywhere. I bought some caseless CDs off ebay a while back (Just papers and discs). The materials won't fit in US style slim 2CD cases or US style big box 2CD cases either, has to be a specific kind of Japanese one that I have other releases in. Very hard to track down spares. The cases are called Fatbox, I just did a search on ebay but can't find any empty blank cases. So they must be under a different name for empty ones. At least this will get you sort of on track, if that's what you're looking for.
