Roger Moore and now Adam West. Who's next? (These things seem to come in groups of 3 is why I say that.)

Too bad Adam is gone. He did a lot of voice over for animated movies and TV shows and had a nice mellow tone.

I was sorry indeed to hear of his passing. Some months ago, I watched one of his films that I had acquired, a Taiwanese disc of Return Fire: Jungle Wolf II. It was a pretty standard low-budget action film, with minimal plot, but a lot of gunfire and stuff blowing up. It was a reasonably entertaining way to pass some time on a rainy afternoon, as long as you don't expect too much from it. Adam West got to have some fun with a slimy villain part in it, something we didn't get to see him do too often. I recall enjoying the disc at the time, having no idea that we would be losing him this soon. It's a very sad time for those of us who grew up watching him in Batman reruns on TV. Gotham City is now a much lonelier place for "solid citizens everywhere". May he rest in peace. He'll be truly missed.

Thanks for that insight laserking.

The guy had a method of acting all his own. His characteristic pauses and emphasis on certain lines
was borderline corny. Instead of being corny though it added a whole demension of seriousness to whatever dialogue he happened to convey.
Thats my opinion at least.
Will have to check out that role as a villain character, great way to pass a rainy afternoon.
