Probably there are already some people who already know this device, but for those who do not, it might be of interest.
A few days ago I accidentally discovered this device.
It is still in development, but I find it very interesting.

It is Modular in that case it means that you can simply put a Special Module on the basic unit to play different consoles.

The following systems will be supported:

NES
SFC / SNES
MD / GEN / 32X
PCE / SGX / TG16
NEO GEO CD
TurboDuo
PlayStation
SEGA CD

The System is Region Free so that you can play all Games from all regions.
If I have understood correctly, you can Copy and Store your Games to the POLYMEGA™.
I understand that as a Safety Copy.

Cool, but we were doing the exact same thing, keeping "safety copies" of SNES games on FDD in 1995 from rental carts.
