I have been searching for the DVD of We're All Devo and cannot seem to find it. I have We're All Devo on CED and VHS tape formats and I am considering buying the LD; but, there does not seem to be a DVD anywhere (let alone the Blu-Ray version). (I do realize that the DVD may not have been released.)

Does anyone have any sources other than Amazon and E-bay for the DVD?

Unless I am very much mistake We're All Devo was released on the LD format, VHS video (perhaps on Beta video also?) & CED officially, no official DVD issue.

There were (still are?) bootleg DVDs around but unsure of the transfer quality or the source used.

Bag yourself an LD copy if you can  .

There are multiple copies of the LD on E-bay with the cheapest being $35 USD with $4 shipping. If it is unsold the first of August, I may take a stab at it.

From my searching on the web, I found out that there were bootleg DVD's sold at one time. Their availability seems to be zero right now. My VHS copy I got back in the late 1980's when I was collecting the VHS and CED formats. The tape is in good to excellent shape; but, it has been played a number of times. I do not know how many times though. The CED I have is in good shape too with low usage.

As I said above, if the $35 LD is still available the first of the month, I will do a BIN on it.

Hate to post but there are bootlegs on ioffer.
Could be from the VHS.

It took me a while to pickup the LD at a reasonable price, just stick it out and you should be able to get one cheaper than 35.

I got a copy coming and it should be here next Tuesday. The jacket is not pristine; but, the price was right at $9.99 + $3.99 shipping.

The jacket is not the best; but, you don't play the jacket.

Sounds like the copy I picked up years ago.
You should enjoy it.
Makes me want to watch mine again.

I got my copy today. The jacket has a small water stain (less that the size of a quarter) on a corner with a few discolorations on the opposite side of the jacket. I find it nothing to worry about. I will play the LD tomorrow or the next day and post my results here.

I tried to play my copy last night and ran into a roadblock. There is no digital sound. I am not setup right now for LD's with only analog sound tracks. IOW: i can play only discs with digital or AC-3 sound tracks. I was afraid this would happen as there is no digital sound label on the jacket. The video looked okay. After I get my Sony DA3300ES AVR setup will I be able to play analog only LD's.

I know everyone was sitting on pins and needles waiting for my review. You will have to wait (unless someone else wants to take the lead).
