Post subject:  Japanese style CD tray liners? Where from?

Has anyone got a link to those nifty fuzzy tray liners I sometimes find in used CDs bought in Japan?

The one's I've got seem to be giveaway promo things (marked with labels like Eiko Music of King Record) but I like using them, it makes the case and disc seem more stable and secure, I'd like to fit out my whole collection with them one day.

Thanks

If you look really close...and think about the things...you’ll see they are totally pointless. That’s why they don’t make them anymore.

more interested in the promo ones put out by individual shops and music labels anyway.

So do these go above or below the actual CD once its in the case??
Seems like a nice idea when shipping used CDs so they don't come loose, but I just use a small piece of bubble wrap.

They go in the tray, the CD then goes on top.

The reason they are stupid is because the space they take up is normally air. The CD only touches the case at the hub. If anything the fuzz just invites potential problems since nothing could be more harmless than just...nothing.

I didn’t realize they were used as promo items. Those would be interesting for historic reasons. The ones I have came in used CDs and were just plain white.

Oh then that is stupid, only reason I would want them is for the top of the CD to hold it in place.

I think I have one of these. Got it in a used Saturn game when I got it from a shop in Yokohama.

Never seen another one of them since though (and that was back in 1997.)
