No luck with Donberg, they are OUT OF STOCK. Trying SignalsUk next. Here's hoping, I have two dead CLD-59s lying on the floor.

Yes, this has been discussed here before: Pioneer VNL1779 black M-holder

Guys check here, maybe last one:

http://alltronicmarketplace.com.sg/component/vcd-dvd-dvr-blue-ray-parts/vnl1700-pioneer-vnl-1700.html

2 weeks ago they had listed 25 in stock. I sent an e-mail about availability but no reply.

Now they list just one in stock, someone may be lucky...

They seem to stock many other laserdisc player parts, maybe take a look...

Called them, this website is obsolete and not maintained anymore.

The new one is http://alltronic.biz/ but the VNL1700 is sold out (final stock - Last pc), I got the last unit for safety.

Collected it yesterday (along with a VNL1603 for CLD-D925 while I was at it):

See the pins sticking up, they hold some gears. The pins break at the base and the gears float in the cavity.

Ah thanks.

So technically you could fix that with a drill bit, metal pins and epoxy if we are lost of those pieces forever.

I've done that type of thing in the past on similar mechanical devices where there were NO parts for the past 30 years.

Worth a try as long as the frame doesn't crack when drilling.

I have one that is broken up in about 4 pieces, not sure epoxy would save that one.
