Hi! I'm based in australia and I "obtained" my dad's old Pioneer Video Disc player - model LD1100 which I am wanting to hook up to our new LG 4K TV. My main motivation is to relive childhood memories and see if all the old laser discs still play well. I found this forum as I am trying to find out how I can connect the LD to the TV without spending huge amount of money. I somehow have to convert a BNC and audio out connections to HDMI. Are there any guides or can anyone point the way on how to do this? Thank you!! |

Sorry. Yes, the TV has both HDMI and Component. |

You can probably use the component connection then. The yellow socket usually doubles as a composite input when used alone, so all you need is a BNC->RCA adapter plug. |

My new Sony not only combines the composite into the component inputs but it combines the components into a single TRS 1/8” mini jack so you need the included pigtail adaptor to plug anything SD into the display. |
