Today, I found something in the second hand shop I work in: A clock with a Laserdisc! Keeping in mind that Laserdiscs were never officially released in Sweden, you're very surprised if you ever find anything related to the format. Anyway, this is what we got today.

Looks really cool (although dirty) to me so I bought it for 15 SEK ($2). However, the clock didn't work so I managed to remove it from the LD and this is what the label looked like.

I tried it out on my setup and it seems to be an instruction video for a computer system of some sort. Not very useful but interesting to have. Does anyone know when it might've been made?

That's for a database system. It was probably made in the late 80's/early 90's, at least before 3M became Immmation.

You really should try to gather as much info as you can so that you can put it into the Database. :)

This was one item you don't need a laserdisc manufacturing plant to produce.
Everyone and their cat was banging these out as soon as LDs became obsolete to try to use up all the surplus discs.

What they don't realise is there are SO MANY discs out there (even foor just Speed and Jurassic Park) it will take forever to use them all up!!

That looks like a cheap rub on stencil - the kind you could buy in any stationary shop.
I hope you didn't waste your money on this!

I used to have an "official" 8" LaserDisc clock. When the clock finally died, I took the pieces apart to play the disc. The center hole had been drilled out wider to accommodate the clock module. And this was in the days before front loading machines, so getting the disc centered enough to play on my VP7200 was a real bear.
