I am looking for the CALIMERO Laserdisc for years:

Ive never seen it, even in the Netherlands, where quite a lot of dealers had almost every UK Spectrum title, also several dutch only
titles Ive never heard of. Looks like the spectrum titles where heavily distributed in the Netherlands, Ive seen more here as in the UK.
Anybode here, who has seen the CALIMERO or even owns it ?

I recently bought that laserdisc on eBay. But I have no player for it. Do you have a PAL laserdisc player you could sell me? If I can get the Calimero shorts ripped I can send them to you.

Hm... I wonder if it will even play.
But I guess regular checking for it on ebay may lead you to a good copy one day.

Actually someone based in the Netherlands currently has one copy of said title in his lddb shop.

The seller told me to ignore that when I bought it and that it does actually play.
I haven't been able to confirm that it plays yet but it doesn't have any scratches that I can see. So I should be able to get it transferred eventually.
But if someone else has one and can rip it it'll save me the trouble. I really want to see the cartoons on it as well.

Would any of you happen to have or know where to find this other Calimero release I've been looking for? It's called "Calimero and the Wonderful Summer". It wasn't released on laserdisc like the first one, only on VHS and Betamax: http://www.pre-cert.co.uk/display.php?vId=UK06004

Try registering their forum and make a wanted ad to find out if someone happen to have it for sale.

Yeah, same here. I was already going to ask about Calimero and the Wonderful Summer on there at one point, but my account never got validated...

It should be live, dunno about validation thingy as there wasn't any back in the days. All it needed was registration and logging in.

You can make an account, but you get "you do not have permission" error messages when trying to access anything, even when attempting to log in. A moderator/admin has to validate/activate it. I just assumed the site was dead since it hasn't happened in months. That, or only people that registered prior to the validation process are still able to use the site due to admins/moderators abandoned it or something. I've given up. Got a few pre-cert tapes missing the cover in the database, and even got a title I suspect is completely missing in general. Guess they don't want my contribution.
