Mars Attacks would be great or ID4, good pics. Maybe 2001.

Or Moonraker. Besides having nothing to do with the moon, it could show alien invaders how technologically advanced we appear to be with lasers on the space shuttle! Or Star Trek II or III for the same reasons. "I...have had...enough of --YOU!!" STOMP!! What alien wouldn't be afraid of that?

that's in no 3.

Ah..."Coneheads".....
One word of caution on that one though ............
If passing by "visitors" are of a cone shaped cephalic nature they may take offence ..... !?!
Or fall deeply in love with Jane Curtain and Dan Akroyd ........ LoL !

If I was an alien visiting the moon for any type of reconnoiter and stumbled upon the LaserDisc "Howard the Duck" I would definately take offence to that title ..........
The inteligence level involved with creating that movie may move an alien race to exterminate our fledgling terrain species out of caution that we do not spread such stupidity to other members of the galactic federation ..................

Otherwise good idea !!! LoL !!!

I was going to say "Moon 44." Another good choice would be the "Space: 1999" volumes released by Image. They were made by PDO UK, so many have developed Laser Rot to one degree or another.

STAY AWESOME! :)

Just a request......
Please don't leave LaserDiscs with potential rotting on the lunar surface.
Bad enough they are already on Terra Firma, no sense spreading that anomaly to luna.

I will be booking my passage as soon as Virgin gets the bugs worked out of their planned orbiter service.
Lunar round trips are just around the corner kids !!!
How much per kilo publius !?! Lol !!!
Hopefully that price comes "down to earth" sooner than later !!!
Stay tuned ..............

"Black Moon Rising" (1986)
"Moonstruck"
Anything from Full Moon Entertainment. :)

Stay tuned ..............

Assuming Falcon Heavy at the quantity price of US$80 million, with two Centaur-derived escape/landing stages at $30M each, with 4.5 tonnes (nett of deadweight) delivered to the surface per landing, I make it in the neighbourhood of $16 000/kg. That's with components which could be ready within 24 months. It's hard to say what the floor figure is, when contemplating a fully-developed transportation system incorporating in-space refuelling & reusable space-to-space & ground-to-space vehicles.

I read you publius !
Perhaps frequent flyer miles would cut the cost over time !?!
One thing is for certain, a luner based entertainment system will have to be well thought out for obvious reasons.
Perhaps Virgin will opt to mule the equipment out of a "necessity" based reasoning.
Tall order to be sure and low on the priority list for any lunar based habitat, still ..............

An Appeal To All LDDB Members :

Due to deteriorating conditions here on earth I propose immediate construction of a lunar base to be commensed post haste........

Please pass the word to :
All philanthropists (please dig deep), All corporations (please loosen the purse strings), and All billionares (please donate for tax credits).........

This venture is no longer a want but a need.......

Obivously this habitat will be multi-leveled and under the surface for the most part.
Thus there will be room for many with their most valued possesions......

My appeal is intended to restart LaserDisc production on la luna !
What else would there be to do except make and watch LaserDiscs there ..... ! ? !

LETS GO ! - TO THE MOON !!!!!!

If Superman 4 is on LD, then it would make sense to put it on the Dark Side of the Moon..and if we could put EVERY version on the moon, then we can all forget it ever existed.

High everyone,

I wouldn't throw anything on the Moon as, mankind throws enough rubbish around on Planet Earth alone, without considering the impact this has on the wildlife alone ect.....

No I cannot think of a Laserdisc title that I would chuck out.
 :?
